How does your group like to start a session?

The original question for this day was “What is the most amazing thing that you know a game group has done for their community?”. It felt a little bit like tooting my own horn and made me uncomfortable.

I like starting a session by hanging out in the living room and socializing before game. We catch up with everyone’s busy lives, vent about personal frustrations and talk about why we’re excited about the game we’re about to play. It helps the group get into the right mindset for a great game.
